4 Slices Beef (sliced €‹â€‹150 G)

150 G Lard (or Butter)
1 Onion, Chopped
1 Teaspoon Mustard
2 Tablespoons Wine Vinegar
2 Tablespoons Water
2 Bay Leaves
2 Cloves
1 Teaspoon Peppercorns

Method

Rub with salt and pepper 4 slices of beef 150 g each.
Heat 150 grams of lard (or butter) and let dry in 1 chopped onion, add meat and brown it on both sides.
Combine 1 teaspoon of mustard dissolved in 2 tablespoons of vinegar and 2 tablespoons water, 2 bay leaves, 2 cloves and 1 teaspoon of pepper.
Cover and lower the flame to a minimum.
Cook for 2 hours, turning the meat every half hour.
It is served with braised cabbage.
